NCCL Inspires: How to Catch the Oscar - The Flow Effect

We are excited to invite you to our first NCCL Inspires event “How to Catch the Oscar: The Flow Effect. How can businesses benefit from the success of Flow?” taking place on November 9 at 17:30 at the beautiful Hotel Bergs Suites for an inspiring evening.

For the first event of NCCL Inspires, we are delighted to welcome Matīss Kaža, Producer of Flow, to share the story behind this extraordinary achievement — from the challenges and critical decisions to the partnerships and persistence that helped bring a Latvian creative vision to the world stage. What does it take for a small country to create something that captures the world’s attention? The international success of the Latvian animated film Flow is more than a cultural phenomenon. It is a remarkable story of ambitious dream, creative independence, collaboration and thinking beyond borders.

Beyond the Oscar-winning success, what would be the takeaways for the business community from Flow’s extraordinary journey and how could businesses benefit from the success of Flow?

This is an opportunity to gain first-hand insights into what it takes to finance an ambitious project, navigate international markets, bring the right partners together and turn creative success into commercial opportunity.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the producer behind the Oscar-winning film Flow and join us for an inspiring evening exploring the possibilities that emerge when we dare to think bigger. And there is more to the story: Matīss Kaža is currently working on a Latvian-Norwegian co-production!

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Hotel Bergs Suites for their cooperation and support in making this event possible.

We look forward to welcoming you to the first NCCL Inspires event and launching a new platform for fresh perspectives and inspiring stories!
