Nordic-Baltic Security Outlook 2027: What Norwegian Companies Need to Know
Event details
We are pleased to invite you to an event “Nordic-Baltic Security Outlook 2027: What Norwegian Companies Need to Know” organized in cooperation with DNB Latvia and Linstow Baltic on October 20 at 16:00 at Origo One Business Center (Satekles iela 2b).
Geopolitical shifts, hybrid threats, societal resilience and critical infrastructure are increasingly influencing how companies invest, operate and plan for the future. For Nordic businesses with interests in the Baltics, understanding this changing environment is becoming an essential part of long-term resilience.
The event will feature three perspectives on the key security challenges facing businesses today:
Krišjānis Kariņš, Senior Advisor at Kreab and former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, will set the scene with a geopolitical outlook, exploring the developments and strategic shifts shaping the Nordic-Baltic security environment.
The discussion will then turn to societal resilience and hybrid threats, with Jānis Vanags, CIREN / Nordic Resilience Summit, addressing how businesses and societies can prepare for an increasingly complex mix of conventional and hybrid risks.
From a corporate perspective, Torgeir Hallesby von Essen, Operational Security Head at DNB, will share insights into corporate security priorities and what security leaders need to consider as the risk landscape evolves.
The programme will conclude with a roundtable discussion and Q&A, moderated by Harolds Bulmanis, offering an opportunity to connect the different perspectives and discuss what these developments mean in practice for Norwegian companies operating in the region.
We hope you will join us for an engaging and forward-looking conversation on what the changing security landscape means for business and what companies can do to strengthen their resilience for 2027 and beyond.
This is a members-only event. Attendance is free, but registration is mandatory. Please confirm your attendance by October 19 by e-mailing office@nccl.lv
