Organised by Daugavpils City Government and the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia, in cooperation with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Latgale Regional Branch, the summit provides an important platform for strengthening regional cooperation and exploring solutions for a more resilient, integrated and sustainable energy future.
The discussions focus on key challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the energy sector, including:
🔹 The role of artificial intelligence in strengthening the competitiveness of energy-intensive industries.
🔹 Future skills, education and human resource needs in the energy sector.
🔹 Regional cooperation and the development of resilient energy systems.
🔹 Innovative technologies and digital solutions.
Beyond the discussions, participants can experience interactive activities, explore virtual reality applications and create their own digital artwork.
The programme concludes at the Rothko Museum with the opening of “Sound’s Hidden Journey: Under Nordic Waters”, followed by a reception celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia — an opportunity to further strengthen connections and celebrate Nordic-Baltic cooperation.
